Effective December 1, 2020, the Civil Process fees in the County of Kendall will be increased in response to a cost accounting study conducted by Fiscal Choice Consulting. This rate adjustment complies with the provisions of 55 ILCS 5/4-5001, and has been voted on and approved by the Kendall County Board and attested to by the Kendall County Clerk and Recorder Debbie Gillette. These fees are available to the public for viewing at the Kendall County Clerk’s Office and are listed below.

Civil Process Fees
- Civil Process Payments may be made here: https://allpaid.com/plc/8425
- Body Attachment: Base fee $105.00 plus .50 per mile (x two) if a transport is needed
- Evictions: $285.00 (TWO SEPARATE CHECKS in the amounts of $225.50 and $59.50 are due at the time of setting the eviction)
- Cancellation Timing: An eviction must be cancelled at least one full business day prior to its scheduled start time or the full eviction fee will be charged. Evictions scheduled the day after an observed holiday must be cancelled before the holiday. If cancelled prior to the one business day, the $225.50 amount will be refunded
- Execute/Acknowledge Real Estate Deed of Sale: $20.00
- Replevin
- $80.00 fee for judgments up to $1,000.00
- $155.00 fee for judgment amounts $1,000.00 – $15,000.00
- $305.00 fee for judgments $15,000.00 or more
- Take Notice/Delinquent Taxes: $70 for each certified mailing
- Notice by Posting: $53.00
- Counter Service: $65.00
