The Sheriff's Office is seeking certified Illinois Corrections and Law Enforcement Officers to join our growing team of professional deputies. Qualified applicants must be currently employed by a municipal, county or state law enforcement agency within the State of Illinois as a full-time Corrections Officer or Law Enforcement Officer for at least 2 years and currently certified by the Illinois Training and Standards Board and be in good standing with their current agency.

We have structured our lateral program’s starting compensation scale to reflect year-for-year service credit up to our current 9-year top-out ($99,652.79 for Law Enforcement) and ($93,040.78 for Corrections) .
