The testing process for Patrol Deputy and/or Corrections Deputy for the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is as follows:

  • Submit application 
  • Complete written exam
  • Pass the CAT (Corrections Agility Test) or have a POWER card dated within the last 6 months
  • Oral Interview
  • Background phase (includes criminal history check, employer checks, neighbor checks, polygraph, psychological exam, and a physical exam)

There is $20 application fee for testing with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office!
