Langston, JasonOperations Division Commander Jason Langston has served the citizens of Kendall County as a member of the Kendall County Sheriff's Office since 2001.  Commander Langston has served in various roles during his tenure at the Kendall County Sheriff's Office including patrol deputy, community policing deputy, and traffic enforcement deputy.  During his time as a patrol deputy, Commander Langston was certified as a defensive tactics instructor, trained new deputies as a field training officer, and assisted with the development of new reporting processes. 

He was promoted to the rank of sergeant in the Operations  Division in 2014 where he supervised a patrol shift and oversaw the traffic unit.  He went on to be promoted to Deputy Commander of the Operations Division and then onto the position of Commander of the Operations Division in 2018.  In this role he directly supervises the Operations Division Deputy Commander and the patrol sergeants of the Sheriff’s Office to assist them with providing the most effective and efficient operations for those that live and work in Kendall County.  Commander Langston also coordinates with specialty units within the Sheriff’s Office, Operations Deputies, and outside agencies and task force assignments to ensure the mission of the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is carried out.
