On August 15, 2023, at approximately 11:00am, the Office of the Kendall County Coroner was notified of a male subject who was found unresponsive after an industrial incident at the Illinois Department of Transportation facility located at 8175 Route 47 in unincorporated Kendall Township.

As a result of the initial investigation, Coroner's deputies pronounced the following individual deceased on the scene:

• Timothy F. Harms, a 43-year-old male of the 1000-block of Spruce Street, Morris, Illinois

At the time of this release, the cause of death is pending further investigation by the Office of the Kendall County Coroner and the Kendall County Sheriff's Office. A forensic autopsy is scheduled to be performed on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
