Our Agency would not be able to fulfill its mission without the hard work and dedicated service of volunteers. These unpaid professionals contribute countless hours to serve their follow citizens and make Kendall County a safer place. We are always interested in speaking to local citizens, who share our dedication to community service, about becoming part of our team.
REQUIREMENTS FOR BEING A VOLUNTEER
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age,
- Reside within Kendall County
- Be available to respond to emergency calls,
- Donate a minimum of 50 hours per calendar year. These hours can be any combination of meetings, training, events and incident callouts
- Attend a minimum of 6 general membership meetings per year
- Attend a minimum of 3 events
- Pass a background check
The following online Independent Study Courses must be completed within the first 9 months of volunteering
