Kendall County EMA Search and Rescue team is made up of volunteers mostly from Kendall County.  We specialize in Search Management, Ground Search and Mountain Bike Search for missing persons and evidence.  When someone goes missing, we are requested by the law enforcement agency having jurisdiction over the incident.  We are deployed both by our own county law enforcement agencies as well as those that call into the Illinois Search and Rescue Council hotline for mutual aid search and rescue resources.  We are members of the Illinois Search and Rescue Council which covers the entire state of Illinois and a bit of those counties in other states that we touch.  Our team trains each month with other agencies in the area, to keep up on our skills.
