The department is responsible for:

- Support for a wide range of information systems and technologies to streamline services across departments and agencies.
- Consultation and assistance for governmental agencies in maximizing the value of their technology investments.
- Cybersecurity and compliance to ensure the safety and privacy of data across all county systems.
- Infrastructure management to guarantee secure and reliable access to the county’s technology resources.
