Statute/Authority: 70 ILCS 705/0.01 to 705/24 - Fire Protection District Act

Description: Fire protection districts are created to provide fire prevention, protection and control services for the people and property within its boundaries. They may also be called upon to assist the underwater recovery of drowning victims and may provide ambulance service. There are five (5) Fire Protection Districts in Kendall County: Lisbon-Seward, Little Rock-Fox, Minooka, Newark, and Oswego.
