Statute/Authority: 415 ILCS 5 - Illinois Environmental Protection Act

Description: The Solid Waste Committee provides guidance, recommendations, and oversight in matters related to solid waste management.

Composition: H&E Chair, CB’s Chairperson, 2 CB appointed at-large community members, one BOH member, one Environmental Health Advisory Board Member, and each local governance is invited to appoint one voting committee member

Term: Five (5) years
