The ZPAC meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 9:00am.  The Committee is made up of Staff from various County departments including, but not limited to; the Planning, Building and Zoning Department, the Highway Department, the Forest Preserve District, Health and Human Services, the Soil and Water Conservation District, the Sheriff’s Office, the County’s Engineering Consultants (WBK Engineering), and the chairman of the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee.

The ZPAC meeting is similar to a concept meeting and is a recommending body.  The ZPAC meeting gives County staff an opportunity to provide the applicant with any comments and/or regulations that may be required to be included in a zoning request.  The ZPAC will make a recommendation for Special Uses, Map Amendments, and Text Amendments.  The committee is also charged with reviewing and approving applications for commercial and industrial site plan reviews.
